Bichanakandi

Bichanakandi

Bichanakandi tourism area is basically a stone quarry where stones are collected from the river. At this place, Khasia mountainous levels came together in one place. A fountain descending from Khasia Mountain has created a lake that connects with the Pyren River. The rocks and stones are absolutely natural and they come down through the water with hilly drift. It is a landscape beauty among gardens and hills.

Bishankandi is situated in a village of Rustampur Union located in Goingghat, Sylhet district of Bangladesh. In recent years tourists are seen to be overflowing to see the river here. The stones, water, mountains and the clouds should be spreading the beds. This is where many layers of the Khasi Mountain meet at a single point from both sides. Flowing from above is a high fall.
