Sonargaon Panam City is one of the best places to visit around Dhaka with family members. Panam City is situated at Sonargaon, Narayanganj in Bangladesh. It is an ancient historical city in Bangladesh. Panam Nagar is one of the 100 ruined historic cities of the world, which is located in Sonargaon of Narayanganj district.

The people of the rich Hindu community once lived here. There was the muslin business. There is nothing left in the ancient city. Now there are just a few of the historic old houses. Among the three cities of boro nogor (Big City), Khas Nogor, Panam City, it was the most attractive city. There are many historical buildings which were built centuries ago and those are related with the history of Baro-Bhuyan. It covered 20 km area of Sonargaon. Sonargaon, the ancient capital of Bengal, surrounded by the aesthetic and natural environment of the natural beauty of the unique architecture.

Of the surviving homes in Panam, 52 houses are notable. There are 31 houses on the north side of the Panam road and 21 houses on the south side. Most of the houses are rectangular, broad, north-south, height one-storey to three-storey. Every home is full of innovative skills in terms of usability, craftsmanship, color use, and construction techniques. Each house has been divided into two sections – Andarabati and Bahirbatti. Most of the houses are open in the surrounding surroundings. Panam city plans are also perfect there are two canals and 5 pounds on the two sides for the city’s water supply. Almost every house has wells or wells. The city has been left free of water for the canal, and the ramp towards the canal. Each house is in an honorable distance from each other. The only road to the city’s transport is the center of the city, which runs through the middle of this city.

Panam City is located half a kilometer from the Sonargaon People and Crafts Museum. In order to develop the cultural tract of the people of the rural Bangladesh, in the year 1975, Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin established the old house of Sonargoan historic Panam city, Bangladesh People, and Crafts Foundation. It’s known as Sonargaon folk art and Craft Museum. The foundation complex was shifted to Sardarbari, almost 100 years old. There is also a rich library, a carpenter and a huge lake. People and crafts museums are located in Sonargaon Bangladesh People and Crafts Foundation. It has been found here that the handicrafts of illiterate artists in rural Bangladesh, and the daily consumption of commodities in the public life. These artifacts blossom in the traditional folk art form of ancient Bengal. From the Sonargaon Folk Art Museum, on the west there is the Goaldi Husain Shahi Mosque. This mosque was built during the reign of Sultan Alauddin Hossain Shahi.
