Bhawal National Park is one of the most important and interesting national parks in Bangladesh. This park is particularly important because of its nobility and its wildlife. Among the many natural forest areas in Bangladesh, the average of Madhupur and Bhawal is one of the most visited places.

This park is located in Gazipur Sadar and Sreepur Upazilas of Gazipur district, about 40 kilometers north of the capital Dhaka. According to other national parks in the world, this garden was officially developed in 5022 hectares of land in 1973. However, it has not been officially declared as National Park before 1982.

Since the park is very close to the capital city, there are many tourist attractions in the park. Especially in the dry season (November to February) a lot of people come here to picnic. According to official data, around 1,500,000 domestic and foreign tourists visit here every year.

There are 221 species of plants in this forest, of which 24 species of clay, 27 species of grass, 3 species of palm tree, 105 species of medicinal plants, 19 species of bush, and 43 species of trees. The main tree of the park is the shawl (Shorea robusta). Bhawal National Park is a beautiful place for picnic or family group trips. The pond has passed through this national park. The centerpiece of the water and the tourists can travel by boat.

On my way from Dhaka to Mymensingh bus, came down in front of the gate of the Bhawal National Park. Besides, there are a number of buses, including Gulistan, from morning to morning, and many other buses including the transit of Bansri. Rent 60 to 80 taka. The entry cost of Bhawal National Park is Tk 10 each. When entering the vehicle, the price is to be paid at a fixed rate. Pratati Bansri Transport from Gulistan, along with transportation of any kind, can be reached in front of the gate of the Bhawal National Park. The entry cost of Bhawal National Park is Private Cars or microbuses will cost 30 taka and the entry fee for the mini buses 50 rupees.

How to go: From Dhaka to Mymensingh on any bus, the boat goes down in front of the gate of the Bhawal National Park. Apart from this, several buses from Gulistan, including Parvati Banasree Transport, are on the way. Rent 40-50 taka when on his own vehicle, Joydevpur crossing the intersection and reaching Mymensingh, its main entrance will be on the right hand side of the hand. Where to stay: Because you are very close to Dhaka, you can come back every day, so you do not have to worry about staying. Still, you can spend the night at any residential hotel in Gazipur district.
